tranny problems? or simple missfire?
Ok, i was coming back from the Home Depot, and i was on the highway going about 45 MPH and i noticed that the car was kinda jerking a little bit, kinda felt like the Torque Convertor was unlocking and locking, so i gave it a little gas which usualy cures it, well this time it didn't, it kept jerking, and the RPM's were fluctuating 200+-. so i let off the gas, and it does the same thing, except at a lower RPM range, with the T.Q. still locked. so i put it in netruel and the RPMS still did that, and u could feel it. but however, when i came to a stop, and put it in netruel, it idled fine. It does this jerking think in both 3rd and OD.
I replaced the coolent temp sensor today, but im almost 100% sure i hooked up everythign back correctly. is that sensor next to the coolent temp sensor the Knock Sensor?
anyone got any clues weather its my Tranny or just missfiring? No codes as of yet

When you let off the gas, the ECM unlocks the TC. The TC also becomes unlocked in Nuetral as well. The fact that it did it in nuetral leaves me to beleive its not the tranny.
I'd say its a drivabilty problem.

so, if part of my ecm was screwed, or the shift kits was screwing something up, then could the T.Q. remained locked? cause im 100% sure alot of the time when going faster then 45 MPH, the T.Q. stays locked, as the car slows down when u let of the gas, but coast better when in netural. also, when the tranny is in 3rd, the T.Q. likes to stay locked at almost any speed.
