petal assembly

is it possible to use a clutch petal assembly that is cable driven in a hydraulic assembly?
Or, does it have to be completely hydraulic?

Re: petal assembly

I cannot attest to the non-hydraulic thirdgen pedal set ups, although from what i understood there was something called a "zbar" and there was no cable, but hydraulic clutch pedals push a rod, whereas cable pull a cable. Not saying its not possible but you would need to modify it.

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

Re: petal assembly

What year is your bird, what year is the junked camaro? The majority of thirdgens, i think 84 and up (someone correct me if i am wrong), all used hydraulic clutch release systems and they are all interchangeable.

I am fairly certain you have to use the 4th gen hydraulics if you use the 4th gen pedals.

Re: petal assembly

You are going to most likely need to get a hydraulic pedal set up if you plan on running hydraulic release on your clutch..
