Transmission: 5spd ZF lsd
Axle/Gears: ?
87 t5 into an 84 car?
i have a auto 84 Z/28 and I found a 87 5spd z/28 for parts. can i use all the 87 parts in my 84? will the center consel pedals etc. carry over also. thanks

the guy with this car emailed me back today said i could have every part i need for the conversion for $200, i gotta pull it myself. anyone no if the 87 parts will work in my 84?

yes they should all fit. you should take the trans crossmember as well, i know the early cars had different ones because of the 200r4 and t10, not sure what you have.
everything else will bolt in, you will need everything you can get, pedals, hydraulics, the trans, wiring pigtails, the shifterplate my be different, im not sure. You can grab the flywheel and clutch, but probably want to get new ones as well.
