hi every one i just bought a 88 iroc 305tpi 700tranny.... my trans seems to shift alittle sloppy at light to partial throttle, it shifts amazing at half throttle, and it shifts really really sloppy at wot it winds out first when it goes to shift the rpms just hang up at the shift point for a second or two and slowly come back down... i usually pump the throttle before it actually shifts on its own same thing from second to third..... when im in gear its fine. i can hit it and it dont slip at all sometimes itll down shift sometimes it wont depending on my speed. i bought the car with a bad tranny and the guy gave me another trans that he said was fine it was his idea to throw in another tranny and i actually dont think he was BSing me i usually dnt trust ppl be he sounded really sincer about the trans being good .... i just put the tranny in, i replaced front and rear seals, new transpan gasket and filter.... im not 100% positive the detent cable (aka kickdown cable) is set right i set it the way ur supposd to and the cable did do a few clicks when i opened the throttle so maybe it is set right i just dont feel confident about it... so what do you think do i need a tranny
