700r4 tranny stuck in gear not sure what gear. i can manualy down shift it to first. how much do you figure it would cost for a rebuild. or do any of yall have a tranny for sale?

 

When you pull it down to low does it actually downshift (to a lower gear) or do you just feel the car slow down? If you leave it in Low and take off does it now feel like it is a lower gear? You might just have a stripped governor gear. Where are you located anyways? I of course have trannies for sale but unless you are in Upstate New York it probably wouldn't be too practical for you!

im in texas and yeah it was the govenor gear i got it replaced last night.
