91 RS tranny?

91 RS tranny?
I was wondering what kind of tranny does a 91 RS 3.1 have? Also would it be any good to use if I were to swap Eng with a 305 or 350? Or will I need a new tranny. THe eng has about 180,000 miles and I belive the tranny is stock too.
