stong 10bolt buildup

i want to keep the stock rear end....
now, should i get some moser axles, and a thicker pumpkin housing and rear cover?
who says 7.5" 10bolts can't handle power!

some moser axles with c-clip eliminators, auburn posi and t/a cover and you should be ready to rock.

I have seen a 10 bolt, 7.5" camaro run 11's. It had an aluminum cover, GM 4.10 gears, and an auburn posi unit. I had to see it to believe it!

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
Mine is still holding up after being built up. Just follow the "10 bolt build up" article. If you can get a 28 spline carrier (SLP Torsen etc) you can get good 28 spline axles from www.drivetraindirect.com for $125 each.

They don't make c-clip eliminators for the 7.5" 10 bolt. Aftermarket axles and "axle-retention device" are manditory for cars running 10.99 and quicker. Rear disk brakes qualify as axle-retention devices. If the c-clip breaks off the axle still can't come out because of the caliper holding the axle in.
