When do I need to change the clutch?
I bought an 88 Iroc 5 speed about 4 months ago, the guy said he just replaced the clutch, and I was just wondering how you can tell if you need a new clutch. Its not slipping or anything, but it is grinding into gears everyonce in a while. I just replaced the clutch master cylinder, so maybe I need more fluid? Any help..thanks

A small amount of grinding every once in a while is normal, especially when going in reverse.
Depending on the quality of clutch installed and your driving habits it will probably last you several years before it starts to get weak.
Your clutch will start slipping at high gears during acceleration first. As it gets worse, the slipping will occur in lower gears.
