Sensor locations on T56???

Sensor locations on T56???

Can someone tell me what each of the four sensors on the T56 are for?

Also, it would help if you could tell me the location of the sensors.

I have a T56 sitting in my garage and I see 3 plugs on one side and 1 on the other.

Going off memory here, the one on the driver's side in the back under the shifter is the speedometer. On the right side of the shifter is the reverse lock out. Left side front is the reverse lights and just behind that is the CAGS.

Not quite correct.

Reverse lights are a standard two-prong weather pack connector. That is the ONLY connector on the right side of the tranny

On the left side of the tranny you have three connectors. The reverse lockout plug is right near the shifter. The VSS plug is below that (and points straight down IIRC). The skip shift plug is farther towards the front by about 6 inches on the left side (near the blank "plate" on the top of the tranny in front of the shifter).

The VSS has its own type of plug; the Reverse Lockout and CAGS plugs are the same.
