Throw out bearing Question

which way do you attach the throw out bearing to the clutch fork

The second way is the right way.

You can see where it's worn on the fork.

Thats what I thought, but the last time I had it apart my buddy said it goes the other way. I can't seem to get this mechanical linkage clutch to work right on this car, I thought maybe that was the problem
