questions about setup

So at the end of this year once I start making money again I am planning on doing a build for my drive train. I have a freshly rebuilt 350 with a erson cam, headers, and full exhaust

I have a 700R4 and I want to leave it as such, but I am going to buy one and rebuild it and then take out the old and replace it with this one.

I am going to use this as a rebuild kit
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BMM-70233/(and a B&M shift kit)

and I am going to get this torque converter
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BMM-70419/

This shifter

Now I am debating putting a transmission cooler on it, I know just regularly driving my car around it seems to get pretty warm in the tunnel so ill have to ask advice on that.

I also want to put a rear in the car, I have an open dif right now( I believe I mean one tire fire so ya know, but I really need to get under it and see if I cant get the tag) But I would like to get a LSD, so what rear should I use? I want to use my car as street/strip so I want it to have a good 1/4 ratio. so any ides?

So I think along with some other parts that I have to account for ( I want to get a bushing set for the rear) that break/need replacing. How does it sound? I dont think it will be to hard to rebuild my own transmission

Re: questions about setup

If your car is a 85 this shifter i believe is not the one. if you look at the application it only goes up to a 81. I just ordered the 80692

Re: questions about setup

There are much better rebuild kits and torque converters for about 50% more. They will do much more, and you won't be paying for just the name. B&M track is very poor, do a little research on this to prove it to yourself. Dana
