Taking out 700r4 and replacing with 700r4

I need to know on a step by step basis, what all i need to do to take out and reinstall my tranny in my gta. B/C i know most of you all have done it you all had to have pioneered some tricks to make it all easier.

375 Horse 327 heads
Ported Intake, Air Foil, TES Headers, Full 3" Flowmaster exhuast.

Gets me where I need to be, even when I am running Late.

The first thing to do is get your hands on a manual. It will have the step by step instructions you need.

Now for a couple tips:
Drain the trans before pulling it. Just pull the pan and let it empty out, it will save some mess.
Be careful not to break the distributor. It is in the back of the engine, and you have to let it tilt to the back to get the trans out and it can hit the firewall.
Change the trans mount while you're at it. THey cost about $25 I think.
Check your universal joints. You'll have the driveshaft out anyway! Good time to inspect them fo wear!
A long (24") extension and a universal for it are really handy for the bellhousing bolts!
The most important thing is to take your time, and think out every move you make. If you pay attention taking it out, it will be super easy to put back it!
