1983 caprice 700r4 has no torque mount holes

1983 caprice 700r4 has no torque mount holes
so I got this great deal on a newly rebuilt 700r4. the one in mine is very tired and the case is broken at a mount hole. my question is this..are the tailshaft housings interchangeable..I currently have a tranny out of a 1983 z28. The caprice was a 350 v8 no tourque bar holes....any advise would be helpful...thanks
