shift improver kit was fine but now......
i have a 88 gta with the 350 and 700r4 trans i put a b&m shift improver kit in it. now it shifts around 6000 rpm the 1-2 shift was great and the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts were just ok now i put a supercharger on my car the 1-2 shift is still ok but when it shifts from 2-3 or 3-4 it seem's like i dont have a lot of power right befor it shifts and some times the trans kinda shakes (just a little) i called up b&m and they said all i needed to get was a corvette servo and it should make the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts better. what do you guys think? do you think that would do any better? any help would be great
thanks

As I read in a post before, a guy I don't remeber the name said he had a shifter and the corvette servor...and he said it shifted the best it's ever ****fted. So I'm assuming it's gonna be better.. I would do it anyway.

The 1-2 shift will hold better due to the larger arrea of the servo. The 2-3 will feel firmer but have no more holding power than before. The 3-4 shift will be uneffected by the servo change. Did they actually say the 3-4 would be better due to the servo or was that a typo? I wouldn't be surprised if the forwards are slipping too but the servo change won't help that. I think you know what my recommendation is, if it isn't too late.

you are right that was a typo b&m didnt talk to me for long at all, they wanted to get me off the phone after i told him what was going on he just said the servo should fix it and said bye. i should have went trans go. the car only has 40,000 miles on it and the trans was good befor i put the shift improver kit in. what else could i try besides the survo? do you have any idea what the trans go kit has that the b&m dosnt. i allready spent money on the b&m and if i could just buy myself some more small parts like the survo and some other small parts that the trans go came with and the b&m didnt maybe i can save some time and some money.
but if i had to do it all over i'd go trans go
thanks a lot
