Anyone know a cheap place for t5 trans parts such as gears?
1) Hey folks! anyone know a distributor or trans shop that sells internal parts ( gears, sliders, forks ) for a fair price?
I feel like some places just want to rip me off real horrorshow.
Please name what you have heard or personally dealt with.
I've called rockland gear, thegearbox.org, and allstategear. (most expensive to cheapest). BTW: allstategear sells some things on ebay, so if you mention the part was posted on ebay, they will give you level 3 pricing.
2) I am looking for a few parts for now, but what I want to find also is:
place I can buy in bulk from.
Anywhere in asia? is the strength / quality of steel weaker there?
3) If anyone has a junk t5 lying around and wants to get rid of it asap, please msg me.

big gear head my hat goes off to you! Thanks alot for the help in the past. When I called rockland state gear, that was a beast of a lady. She was scary! haha. I am looking for a place that sells parts for cheaper than rockland ( for instance, allstategear does ). But I am looking for even cheaper than that.

Those women at Rockland can make you feell pretty dumb sometimes. They know more about manual transmissions than most of the men who work on them. Their prices are pretty good too. I usually just get the parts from them because they are about the same price as everyone else. I've checked around some and there isn't much difference in the prices. S&K Speed was pretty good to deal with, but I haven't been able to contact them since the area codes changed years ago.
