I have a jasper rebuilt 700r4 and built up, i have had this trans for 5 yrs but maybe have 15000 miles on it.My detent was set up years ago it shifts fine up through the gears but what i have always noticed was when your doin bout 30mph and hit wot your lucky if it drops a gear like it should.The detent was 5 clicks out when doin this, i put it to 4 clicks still no down shift at bout 30mph but it shifts harder up through the gears which feels alot more positive.What gets me is i researched how to adjust the detent so i pushed the cable in till it stopped and put the throttle at wot and they say thats the way to correctly adjust and it only came out 1 click, i have not driven it yet at 1 click out to see how it is but it seems weird 1 click? any ideas?
