how do i know if i have 4th gen 10 bolt

Transmission: T56
how do i know if i have 4th gen 10 bolt

I think i might have 4th gen rear in my car
Its 91z28 vin code said 3.42 posi
i go to rear axle and it has no #s on axle tube its on the bottom of carrier
The # on the bottom is 22522878
I have opened the cover its fot aubern clucth type posi
Were can i go to look up the axle code #

Since the fourthgen is wider than a thirdgen, I'd suggest looking at some pictures. There are fourthgen measurements and pics in the following FAQ:

If you have stock 3rd gen rims and the wheels stick out from under the fenderlip, then it's a 4th gen rear (unless someone went to alot of trouble to shorten axles).
