T-56 Install - Need bolts and P/N's FAST
I am getting ready to mate the tranny to the motor but need all the bolts to do it.
Please let me know if I am missing something here and what parts numbers do I need off of summit? I tried to search by car and they dont list ARP bolts for a 95 z28 LT1 T-56 for example. I am doing a LT1/T56 swap into a 92 z
looking for all ARP bolts for these: Do I need anything else for the T-56 and new clutch install?
Trans to bell housing bolts
bell housing to motor bolts (or studs?)
pressure plate to flywheel bolts
bolts to mount flywheel
what are the correct lengths/diameters?
Thanks in advance

I did, but most of it didn't apply to my situation. Now just from my own personal digging, which isn't verified or guaranteed...
Trans to bellhousing bolts are a M10x1.50x40
Bellhousing to engine bolts are the same as they'd be with an auto, 3/8-16 by about 2" long.
Pressure plate to flywheel bolts are specific, there are no upgraded replacements. This thread here https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tran...ate-bolts.html has a substitute from Fastenal.
Flywheel to crank bolts are the same as any other SBC from what I've read.

T.A.Y.Q., they are M10x1.5 maybe 40 or 45mm long? 15mm head. (I bought a bunch of these not long ago and have enough to sell a few; they're a slightly higher grade than OEM and have the flange washer)
3/8-16; buy these for any chevy bellhousing to engine
pp to fw are tricky. They too, are 3/8-16 but OEM are a long portion of the shank is unthreaded. If you get bolts that are half-threaded and the unthreaded portion is equal in length to the untreaded portion of the OEM bolts, those work with some flywheels (not all.)
Flywheel to crank are 7/16-20 and again - buy for a manual Chevy app; nothing special here.

Every nut and bolt on my car is brand new so I figure why re use the old stuff here as well... I actually found the trans-to-bellhousing and bellhousing-to-block bolts so I guess I will just use them. I got tired to trying to search for these guys.
There are no gaskets to RTV or anything needed between the surfaces of the trans-to-bellhousing and bellhousing-to-block right?

Re: T-56 Install - Need bolts and P/N's FAST
I looked up the various bolts and checked the GM prices. For about what one single bolt cost, I could order 25 from McMaster-Carr and save a couple bucks. If you've got the bolts from the donor car I'd clean them up and use them. You know they'll get the job done without any guesswork. The T56 I bought didn't come with the bolts, the seller had already assimilated them into his bolt bin by the time I came to pick up the transmission.

Bolts: Clutch PP bolts (Ace hardware, 2" long, 3/8", 16 threads per inch, grade 8) - 6 @ $.69 = $4.14
The ARP flywheel to crank bolts I used are on there too, as well as everything else. The PP bolts form ACE work great. I know cause I just finished my T56 swap last week.
The stock PP bolts are only Grade 5 so the ace bolts are an upgrade and are only $4!
