Driveshaft Question

I know this is a 4th gen question but I have to ask. In my shop is a 1995 Camaro v6 automatic with a two piece drive shat that is broken at the carrier bearing ( one shaft spinning into another . The problem is that no one can touch the two piece shaft any more and I am being told that the one piece shaft will jump right in with no mods or problems????

I am trying to find out if this is FACT or FICTION?????????
Please help.

Re: Driveshaft Question

I sold several thirdgen alum shafts to replace the two-piece in a fourthgen V6. All went well as far as I recall. The length is, after all, the same (41 1/2" U center to U center).
