Engine: 454 BBC
Transmission: Built 700R4
Axle/Gears: Weak 10 Bolt/3.23
Thinking about swapping from the 700r4 with new motor
Hello folks, well i just bought a rebuilt 454 to put into my 83 T/A and I am wondering if the 700r4 will even bolt up to the BBC and run correctly. I am thinking about changing to a TH350 trans. Has anyone has issues running a 454? I thing you have to buy the conversion kit to swap them over which is no big deal but which one will be better for this motor. Any ideas or suggestions?
