How much power will a stock t56 clutch hold
Along with about a million other things a stick swap is something I want to do. A T56 is what I would put in. I'm thinking about selling my whole auto setup to fund the 6 speed. I think I should be almost able to buy everything with the money from the sell. One big determining factor though is the clutch. I started looking around and some of these things cost over a grand by themselves. So how much could a stock AutoZone clutch hold up to? I'm not running slicks YET but I do want some drag radials. Even then, if I go to the track once every 4 or 5 months, I'd be surprised. The motor specs are in my sig. I'm guessing a tad over 400 horse maybe.
Also, (and this is not an ad) does anyone think I could get maybe $1200 for my current setup. Its a Hughes TH-350, 2 convertors a 2500 and 3500 stall, SFI 168 tooth flexplate, -6 stainless braided lines from the trans to the cooler with the proper fittings and no hose clamps, a Lockar firewall mount dipstick and a Lockar kickdown cable, a B&M heavy duty shifter cable, and a Spohn trans crossmember (I would prefer to keep the torque arm but could let it go if I had to).
