Thread engagement on wheel studs

The rims I have say to use a acorn stlye(60* conical) lug nut. I'm hearing horror stories about acron nuts and shearing wheel studs. I'm only pushing out 400hp and the car is street driven 90% of the time. Will I be ok with these lug nuts ?

Hope so becuase I'm in the same boat as you

As long as there is good thread engagement, you'll be fine. There are plenty of cars that come factory with that much power and use these lug nuts.
