700R4 build kit good/bad?
I have listed what the kit includes, i plan on putting it behind a 383 stroker 450hp and 440tq. The price is $515 is this a scam or a legit kit. It also says its rated for 575hp. Also it asks if i want a TransGo Separator Plate and a GM Reverse/Input Drum would i need these parts for my aplication? Thanks, Gary

Sounds like Dana's Street / Strip kit from Pro Built...I don't have much to compare it to, but I'm pretty happy with the way my trans performs after installing what I believe is the same kit you are describing.

I bought the same kit. Very happy with the contents. Hopefully I'll have it on the road by next weekend.
I have not heard anything bad from anything that Dana has sold. If you have the kit built as he says to build it, you shouldnt have any problems. As far as asking about the other stuff, give him a call. If he doesnt answer he will call back. Thats what I did. And I recommend a new seperator plate. Cheap insurance.

Re: 700R4 build kit good/bad?
Dana is a VERY stand up guy. I bought the roadrace kit from him per his recommendations. He even called me back at 11 o'clock at night to help me with my order. Will most definately do business with him again.
