yes you can it would be the entire rear end assembly... you would have to use 4th gen wheels on the rear, otherwise your 3rd gen wheels would stick out...

Re: Rear Axle question

There are only a few hundred threads about that & a few hundred pics as well. Using the feature that TGO provides, goes a long way.

Or use this thread that was started 5 years ago & is on the FREQUENTLY Asked Questions board........

Re: Rear Axle question

you told me that my little thread on the 4th gen swap was a good try, but it doesnt matter, people are going to continue to not search and just ask this question weekly.

So you had good intentions, but I 99.999% guarantee that by next week? Somebody will post up with a brand new thread asking.....

Re: Rear Axle question

what I think is going on is that the search feature kinda sucks... why? because if you don't quote the words you're looking for you end up with hundreds of hits...

Re: Rear Axle question

The search feature works, It just brings up ALOT of info to sift through, so if you don't spend much time reading you don't find what you need. It does take alot of reading sometimes to find what you are looking for.

Yep. And in doing the first search, you learn to refine your search & narrow down the results.

If you think you will get THE answer, until you have learned just how to refine searches, your .

Once you get the hang of it, you can usually find your answer somewhere on the first page of results.
