I just got my Firebird running yesterday, during the test drive the transmission would jerk hard when I put it into gear, and when shifting it's slow but jerks hard. Also, it seems to kill the engine a little, like too much load or something.

It has new fluid and is full.

Is it the TV cable? If it is, how do I adjust/fix it? Never done an auto transmission before.
