anyone ever do a shift kit installation thread? i want to install a transgo shift kit. Level 10 is right around the corner but theyll charge me as much as a remaned tranny to do the job(well almost) and im sure it can be done myself i just like to have a good overview of what im doing first and please dont tell me to buy a dvd if i was gonna do that i wouldnt post, 37$ for shift kit 20$ for dvd, its free to read instructions, i think we all know where im going with this... 20$ will pay for the AN fittings i need to complete my fuel lines so dvd purchase is OUT

if there is a thread on this just kindly direct me i searched with a million results none of which had anything to do with the subject "shift kit"

TransGo has the video for a Shift kit installation. I know of no others. If you want a better Shift kit installation instructions, I can help you out here. Which kit did you get? What is it you want exactly?

 

well ive never installed a shift kit, matter of fact ive never had the pan off myself i usually get someonelse to do the fluid change, i have the transgo Jr kit I just thought it would be really great if someone would do a tutorial on here to help out us novices who want a shift kit but dont wanna/cant pay someone to put it in i for one am trying to do all the work to my car myself so when i pass it on to my son he can say "my dad built it for me" something ive never been able to say, i can only say "my dad bought it for me" lol

 

if anyone is near me and knows how to do it maybe we can collaborate for a install thread... my car,parts and camera your expertise my tools and elbow grease... anyone in my area interested?
