i have a 700r4 in my v6 bird, when im driving in overdrive, @55-60 mph it will downshift, not consistley, but enuff to knock my gas mileage down, it will do it when its cold and warm, and the tranny fluid is full, im wondering what all i should look for? any ideas, thanx in advance

Sounds like your kickdown cable needs to be properly adjusted. They're kind of finicky for the 700-R4. Bowtie Overdrives has some very good info on how to get the cable dialed in properly, and I'd link it, but my computer's acting weird.
