Servo Cover - Should it be this difficult?
I'm trying to put the cover back on, I bought it with the cover partially off, found out the hard way. So i put i new 4th piston ring on and grease and now trying to get the cover back on, I used a pry bar and all i am doing is denting the frame.
I also noticed at the end of the first spring you see under the cover/4th piston. thats the servo? it should be parallel?
mine is sitting kind ****-eyed. the previous owner installed a trans go shift kit. maybe something isn't right beyond the 4th piston that is preventing the cover from sealing properly?
it has to be far enough in that the snap ring sits in the little indentation correct?
I hate to hand it over to a tranny shop for just the cover, but maybe its more than that.
thanks
