How does my 700R4 plan sound?

I got a new filter and gasket for my 700r4 and figured while I have the pan off why not try some upgrades. I have a corvette servo which will go in to ( I know that is a different area). I have seen on E-bay where I can get the .500 boost valve and a super firm 1-2 and 3-4 accumulator spring pretty cheap. I am thinking of going ahead and getting the Transgo Jr kit while I am at it. Only another $35 for that. Don't have a big budget and thought this might be fairly cheap, easy, and worthwhile. Motor is a mild 350 with an Edelbrock carb, nothing too stout, just a weekend cruiser. Transmission is an 86. Sound like a good plan? Any and all advice is welcome.

Which one did you do and how big a PIA was it? I am going to change the filter regardless. I was told the 1-2 and 3-4 springs doesn't even require the valve body to be removed.

i spent 2 hours laying under the car when i can have the whole transmission out in 30 minutes. the 3-4 acc. springs are accessible without removing the valve body. 1-2 are under the separator plate. i got the POS b&m kit

I'll give it a go. Not my daily driver so I can take my time. I do have another tranny that I will have rebuilt when I have more cash saved up. It's an 85 thats works good now, but has around 200,000 on it. Will probably get it done next fall or winter and put that in.
