stupidity = no shifting...
Well I was at a gas station and my brother and his friend pulled up and his friend was saying how sweet the car was and this and that, so when I was leaving I revved it up a little bit and dumped the clutch. Then it shifted hard into second and it wouldn't shift anymore, so I pulled over and they followed. It shifts fine when the car isn't running, but when it is running, it won't shift into gear unless someone is pushing the car, which is how I got it to my mom's house. It still shifted hard 1-4 (didn't go into 5th), but shifted non the less. Then when I turned off the highway I just coasted in neutral to my mom's driveway, where it sits.
My dad thinks it might be the slave cylinder, and my brother's friend said I probably dropped the clutch. Anyone know what exactly it is? Or could it be multiple things? I'm not a mechanic by any means, and I know little to nothing of transmissions. Thanks for the help in advance.

If you dropped the clutch, can't you just pick it back up?
Listen to your dad... it seems like you might have a problem with your clutch hydraulics.
