Tranny oil line materials

Tranny oil line materials

What are my choices on oil lines for the tranny? I know of copper, steel, SS, fuel line, I am thinking about SS braided hose, any opinions, what are some of you using? 700r4, 82 camarothanks - mark

Not a great idea to use rubber fuel line. It doesn't usually have the pressure and heat rating necessary for tranny lines. I bought some rubber "transmission cooler line" from OReillys that was rated for that. It cost about $3.50 per foot though.
