No 3rd Gear

So I rebuilt my 700R4 myself, everything was great for the first couple days, now I have 1st,2nd, won't go into 3rd, don't know about 4th the engine pretty much redlines coming outta 2nd and I don't wanna push it. Any thoughts? I checked the fluid, checked the filter and all that. Put about 120 miles on it since rebuild and not over 65 miles an hour or 2200 rpm until it decided not to shift.

Gonna Pull the Governor and Servos out and see if it's in there, if not down with the Valvebody to check the checkballs hopefully it'll be that easy.

Re: No 3rd Gear

I think I figured it out. I had a check ball in the wrong location, I set the trans up as an 84 because that's the year of the car but then I recently figured out the valvebody is from an 89, so now that I've got all that figured out I've just gotta get the TV cable hooked up at the carb, put the pan back on fill 'er up and hope I'm one lucky **** that didn't destroy the 3-4 clutch pack.
