Axle/Gears: 273?277
1989 Iroc-z28

This might sound dumb! But will any year 700r4 Tranny fit into my 89 Iroc z28 so long as its for an v8.

Any 700R4 for a V8 except for the later years (91-92) with electroic control.

The 1991 and 1992 will fit as well - might have to take the mechanical speedo setup from yours and swap.

1988 (I believe) and later trannies had some improvements internally, so try to stay up in the years.

thanks guys,Sometimes its hard to tell what the tec data means when it talks about upgrades and changes.
