transmission cooler lines
transmission cooler lines
Starting again, I threw a main bearing in my 88 GTA several years ago. So i built a 383. I had the tranny rebuilt new converter, flex plate, injectors, sensors etc. Put it all back in probably 4 years ago. I could not get the tranny cooler lines hooked back up to the tranny. Kind of gave up, had another kid, no time, now I want to get it done. My new son is now four and he really wants to ride in it. Anyway my question. I searched high and low, I thought I remember people converting the hard lines to braided or rubber, but I need to adapt them. I thought they were a 5/8 flare but not sure. Does anyone have a part number from summit or somewhere. I really don't want to drop the tranny or cut a whole in the floor, but I cannot get them hooked back up. All I have left to do is the tranny lines, starter and fluilds and its done. Wish I would have put some stub lines on before I put it back in, but I didn't.
