T5 shifter wobbling, Please Help!
So yesterday I started driving down my street and my shifter started wobbling up and down through all of the gears when I accelerate faster than the average driver. Does anyone have any suggestions? I checked the trans mounts and they seem to be tight and in place. Also,(this isn't a new issue),my clutch pedal stiffens up when i don't use it for a while, like driving down the freeway. Any suggestions will help, thanks alot

Not sure what "mounts" you checked; but if there were more than one thing, they weren't the transmission mount.
You need a transmission mount, same as every other one of these cars. I'd recommend not getting a stock replacement. Get a poly one instead. Speaking strictly for myself, I could back my car down the driveway and rip a stock mount in half the VERY FIRST time I let out the clutch. Did it once in fact. Now granted my car had a good bit more power than yours, even then (it was still stock); but still. That tells you how over-stressed the mount is in these cars.

yeah stock mounts suck, i ripped 3 of them in a week before buying my poly one lol its on the crossmember between the tailshaft and the Xmember, like 4 bolts to drop the member, and i wanna say 3 on the mount itself

Should the OP be interested in poly, the following link might be an interesting read:

Thanks alot everyone, it seems it was the transmission mount. I went with a prothane and that fixed it pretty well.
