clutch pedal stiffening

I have a t5 transmission that when I don't use the clutch pedal for a while it stiffens up. Any ideas would be great, thanks

Re: clutch pedal stiffening

the fluid could be boiling. the line to the slave cylinder may be too close to the exhaust.
