t56 engagement issues

I have researched on line here and i am having a different problem with my t56 clutch engaging. (i think) When i depress my pedal all the way, i go to shift into gear and the car will lurch forward, and getting it into revearse is impossible. I have though of lengthening the master push rod, but I dont want to damage anything. Is this the best way to fix this issue. This is the second set of hydraulics that has done this to me with. The first set came with the transmission, and the second set I just bought last week. I dont know if it makes any difference, but I used a set of v6 pedals on my car when I did the swap.

Re: t56 engagement issues

the v6 slave might not be big enought to push the slave rod or have enough throw in the slave i used 3rd gen pedals or use a set of 4th gen

Re: t56 engagement issues

the reverse lockout has been deleted on my transmission, i did rebleed the new hydraulics last night, but that didnt work. I am begining to suspect that the 1995 v6 pedals i have just arent quite right for this set up. i will look around and see if i can pick up a set of actual t56 pedals for my car.

Re: t56 engagement issues

Try to take out your slave and push it in by hand then have some one step on the clutch pedal, see how much movement your getting, should be around 3/4 to 1" travel on the slave rod. If your getting that then sounds like there is a problem with your clutch or could be a pilot bearing problem.
