700R4 Pressure Port
I am having some strange issues with my 700R4, and wanted to hook up a pressure gauge so I can see what's going on line pressure-wise.
Currently, I have a temperature sender installed in the driver side port.
Can anyone tell me if there are any additional ports located on a 700R4 where I could add a pressure sender, or am I going to have to remove the temp sender and install one in It's place? I would prefer to be able to monitor both.
Thanks.

I wouldn't reccomend tapping into that port for temp readings. I would say either tapping into the pan or a cooler line. That is going to be the best place to check your pressure.

Be really careful....tapping into a trans can put small alum or metal filings into the trans and then you will need to over haul it. The other thing is there are MANY pressures....several clutch packs, main pump, etc....If you want to understand pressures, check out the pressure map in the trans overhaul service manual.
