Just curious if this would work
Ok I dont know a lot about aftermarket tachs with shift lights, I was wondering if it is possible to install one on my car for my automatic 700r4.... I ask because I am getting ready to install a B&M shifter and I know that it wont let me shift unless my tranny is ready to but I was wondering if having a shift light would help me ratchet shift better. Sorry if this is a stupid Idea I was just wondering

Tachs all work from the tach signal wire from the distributor, type of shifter or what tranny won't make any difference. You just get the tach operational and then set the light to come on at whatever rpm you like.
