I got a 700r4 from a guy on a local forum and he said the transmission would take along time to shift about 10 secs between shifts. He had the tv cable adjusted correctly and it operated perfect besides it taking so long to shift. I took the pan off today and the spring that is behind the rod that the tv cable pushes seems to be wore out. Is there suppose to be about 1" of play between the rod and the bracket that the tv cable is hooked to? Just wondering if this is the prob. I took some pics of it. I might not know what i'm talking about but I think this is what the tv cable hooks to. Also where is the governer located?
