Corvette Servo same as the one already installed?

So a few weeks ago I ordered a Corvette Servo from Dana over at pro built. I ordered the following part:

https://www.700r4l60e.com/store/prod...&cat=52&page=1

I figured it was the upgrade servo everyone does and is happy with. Well I. Was following this guide:

http://sethirdgen.org/servo.htm

There you can clearly see what the vette servo difference.

So what is going on here? The site clearly says Corvette servo. Yes it does show the picture of it but I did not know its a stock replacement with just added D-rings. Here is what I received the first picture was uploaded the day when it arrived on Dec 8 and then comparing it to the stock servo its replacing.

They are both vette servo's. Adding a vette servo is a common upgrade, even on stock rebuilds. The trans in your car either had one stock, or someone added it at 1 time.

I find that hard to believe that I've rebuilt a '88 700R-4, a '95 4L60E, and a '94 4L60E and all those servos look exactly like the corvette one? I have yet to take measurements off all of them but they all seem pretty much the same to me. I seem to have misplaced the one out of the '88 but I'm pretty sure it didn't look like the one from that link. Unless that is a pre-'87 thing like the input spline count and the auxillary accumulator in the valve body.

Same thing here... When I rebuilt my 700r4, the existing servo was identical to the vette servo from Dana. I have no idea of the history of my transmission except that the car was 100% stock down to the stereo and plug wires. But I will say it always shifted very strong and chirped second, so it is possible the trans was rebuilt/upgraded at some point in it's 140k miles.
