Transmissions and Drivetrain Need help with your trans? Problems with your axle?

B/W 9-bolt wheel/axle bearings, any good companies still make em?

Transmission: TKO 500
Axle/Gears: 9-bolt w/ 3.23's
B/W 9-bolt wheel/axle bearings, any good companies still make em?

My current ones are totally shot. The last time I did this, I used timken, but I cant find the cone/race listed anymore on the parts sites. Do they still make them?

GM still has them listed, but they're like 50 dollars. Hope thats for two!

Yes, they are still made and any good Auto Parts store should have them. Or try Sumitt Racing.

Ive seen them listed by companies other than timken. Are they as good? I havent pulled the axles yet, but it seems like the timkens didnt last too long. Only have like 60k on them, and the axles have a lot of end play now. Are there better ones to be had?
