hey i have a 91 z. i wouldnt be able to grip t all so i bought some needle drag radials. so we lifted the car completly to put the nittos in and when i warmed up the tires they grip real good. but now for some reason it feels like something slams like if the differential would slap on the floor when i smash. something hits. u could hear a bang. kinda loud. and this happened today since i got this tires. that hit slows me down. cant have that when your trying to destroy a mustang. im not sure what this is. some advice plz

 

Broken transmission mount

 

but wouldnt i hear that by were the shifter is at? i had a broken trans mount of a 89 iroc and it felt different and alike at the same time. i hear and feel this problem more to the back. by like the back wheels

 

you can visually see if the tranny mount is broke so crawl under it and look? it wont really hurt?

 

while you're under there check your torque arm and make sure both bolts on the diff are on there and tight and make sure the mount on the tranny is secure
