5 speed shift problem
Hello;
I have a 1983 Z28 with 5 speed V8.
I was down shifting from 3rd to 2nd and the shift arm came off of the linkage? The arm was in sencond but the transmission was in reverse.
I was able to work the two back together and shift again, but I would how to fix this.

shifter arm = shifter stick w/ **** inside the cabin?
stock, they're threaded on. Tighten it back on.
aftermarket, they're bolted on w/ two bolts; tighten the bolts.
