Car: 86 Firebird LG4
Engine: 350
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.23 limited slip
need help on inspecting pump
its a 700r4
what I did was put the transmission onto the engine without the converter being seated all the way in. I didn't hear anything make a noise I just couldn't turn the engine over by hand.
I need to know if the pump on this transmission is ok. I got a picture of the front part. it looks like a leak on the bottom part? I don't know anything about transmissions and I want to make sure this thing will be okay to put back in. :
is there anything else I should look at? Thank you for your help
