700r4 compatibility question
I have an 87 trans am with a bad transmission. I was recently able to pick up a good transmission out of an 83. I was wondering what kind of problems I could run into and if will even work to switch em? Thanks

Also - not sure about spline counts, but in mid year 1987 they beefed up the internals on the 700R4, so if splines will match you'd be much better off with a 1988+ 700R4.
