Car Jumping Between First and Second

I just got a 1988 Chevy Iroc Camaro. 350 5.7L V8 automatic transmission. Overall everything seems fine except for what seems to be from first to second gear. It doesn't happen all of the time but a good amount of the time it seems like it takes too long to shift and jumps forward. All of the other gears seem fine. Is this a issue I should look into? What do you suggest?

Re: Car Jumping Between First and Second

Yeah, it happens when driving at low speeds. But it only seems to happen between first and second. Normally when I first start driving from a stopped position. Sometimes it shifts fine though. This is my first IROC though so I'm not really sure if this is a normal thing when driving at low speeds or what I should be checking for.
