Vacuum modulator help
ok, so i have been having progressively worse trouble with my automatic trany not shifting up at the right time, at first it was just a little delayed, then it got more delayed, etc. and now its to the point where it will rarely shift even at 5,000+ rpms unless i am moving the shifter from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to drive. I havent been able to look at the oil pan to know for sure what trany i have, but based off what ive read, that the tv cable wont affect the th350's shifting as much and that i have no overdrive, im pretty sure i have a th350. anyways, today i stopped to pick someone up and i heard a gurgling like noise coming from the passenger rear and thought that could be my vacuum modulator disconnected which is causing all the problems. my only problem is i dont know nearly enough about cars to know if thats a noise the vacuum modulator would make if it got disconnected or if thats even the right area for where it would be. i heard its passenger side next to trany, but wasnt sure, and i saw something uunder the hood that looked just like one so i didnt want to tinker with anything. can anyone help?

Re: Vacuum modulator help
If it's the stock 3 speed auto, it's not a TH350, it's a TH200C. No vacuum modulator.
