T-5 Swap from auto. Cruise and power hatch not working
Swapped an 86 TPI 700R4 to 88 W/C T-5. It's working well, but the power hatch release and cruise control do not work now. What didn't I hook up right?
Thanks.
Thanks.

the purple and yellow wire for your old neutral safety switch are most probably not hooked up right...

to mak ethe trunk switch work I had to run oneof the wires from the switch to the connector at the base of the emergency brake. If you take a look at the area you can see how it works mechanically. There are two separate lines to the switch I ran one of them to the e-brake connector and it works only when you have the brake on.
surprise, cruise control works with your brake and clutch pedals. It is cancelled if you depress either. There are two white plastic plunger type things that have to be mounted, connected and working for cruise control. The pedals push them in, make a connection.
