Borg Warner 5 speed 1st and Neutral gets jammed

Car: 1987 Camaro IROC
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: BORG WARNER 5 SPEED
Axle/Gears: 3:45
Borg Warner 5 speed 1st and Neutral gets jammed
Well got my iroc home a few weeks ago and noticed She gets stuck in 1st and Neutral time and time again also when this happens clutch pedal gets very weak really sloppy like no clutch pedal at time. When this doesn't happen she shifts fine and so is clutch pedal. So what is starting to happen or what should be done? Rebuild? Thanks -Dave

Sounds like a bad slave cylinder to me.. could also be out of adjustment.. Just my $0.02

Hey no worries, I have had a few manual trans. vehicles, and have come across plenty of issues. I have a lifted 95 f150 for a mud toy with a 300 six cylinder and a mazda crap-box tranny in it (notorious for eating slaves). I'm glad I could help you out!
